John Farlinger

Director, Executive Chairman, CEO

Mr. Farlinger currently serves as Assure Neuromonitoring’s Executive Chairman and CEO. He joined the Corporation as an Independent Board Member in 2017. Mr. Farlinger is a veteran venture and private equity backed executive and entrepreneur and brings more than 20 years of experience in telecom, operations, technology and finance. He has held the position of Chairman and CEO of Urban Communications Inc. from 2014 until 2018. His past positions include Senior Vice-President of Teliphone Navigata-Westel from 2013 to 2014, CEO of Titan Communications/Galaxy Multimedia Inc. from 2009 to 2013 and before that was the CEO and President of Silicon Valley based Adzilla Inc. from 2004 until 2009.

Mr. Farlinger is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from Queen's University.

Jerod Powell

Chief Information Officer

Mr. Powell has over 20 years of experience in cloud computing, digital transformation, process optimization and organizational development. He specializes in crafting and delivering customized solutions designed to support organizations through rapid growth and market share expansion. Prior to joining Assure, Mr. Powell served as president and chief information security officer at INFINIT Consulting, a Cloud Solution Provider and technology consultancy company. Previously, Mr. Powell was CEO & president of consulting services at Planetmagpie, an outsourced database hosting and IT consulting company, and before that was functional team lead and senior systems engineer at Microsoft.

Paul Webster

Senior Vice President of Managed Care and Revenue Cycle Management, Interim Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Webster has two decades of managerial and strategic leadership experience in the healthcare industry. Most recently he served as vice president of policy and health economics for Air Methods Corp. (formerly Nasdaq: AIRM), one of the largest air medical service companies in the world. While there, he was responsible for engaging with legislators, regulators and payers to articulate the economics of providing emergency air medical transportation. He also served in a variety of management positions that included responsibilities such as negotiating in-network contracts with health insurance companies, cost trend analysis and the analytics around out-of-network billing as well as integrating acquisitions. Before Air Methods, Mr. Webster served in accounting roles at Arthur Andersen, LLP and Compliance Systems, Inc.

Mr. Webster holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Hope College.

Sherri Wagner

Vice President of Human Resources

Throughout her career Ms. Wagner has held multiple senior HR roles at Fortune 250 organizations. Prior to joining Assure, Ms. Wagner served as a senior human resources leader at Amazon where she was responsible for launching and staffing a 3.5m square foot fulfillment center. Before that, Ms. Wagner was human resources director at DISH Network responsible for leading field recruiting and managing multiple HR business partner teams. Additionally, Ms. Wagner has an extensive background in training and organizational development. Ms. Wagner earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Science in Human Resources Development from Indiana State University.

Alex Rasmussen

Vice President of Client Experience

Between 2011 and early 2018, Mr. Rasmussen served as senior vice president and territory director for UMB Financial Corporation ("UMB"), a multi-bank holding company offering complete banking and related financial services to commercial, institutional and personal customers nationwide. Mr. Rasmussen led UMB's financial centers and small business lending channels for its western territory, overseeing 30 financial center managers and over 300 associates with full profit and loss responsibility for the division. Given his financial experience, Mr. Rasmussen will also support Assure's financial planning and analysis.

Mr. Rasmussen earned his Executive Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.

Beth Lindstrom

Vice President of Clinical Operations

Ms. Lindstrom has over 15 years of experience in intraoperative neuromonitoring. She specializes in process development, quality assurance and patient safety in a variety of clinical settings in and out of the hospital. Prior to her current position with Assure Neuromonitoring, she was a member of a smaller neuromonitoring company in Denver, Colorado where she led process development for the company to achieve The Joint Commission accreditation. She continues to oversee The Joint Commission accreditation with Assure. 

Ms. Lindstrom holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Arizona State University. She is a member of ASET: The Neurodiagnostic Society and the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring (ASNM).
